Many modern environmental control structures utilise roof mounted natural ventilation systems for internal temperature and humidity control.

These systems are usually actuated by rack & pinion devices and driven by high reduction motor/gearboxes.

Redpath imports, assembles and distributes a range of quality European motor/gearbox drives.  They are purpose-designed for reliable operation within the often harsh environments produced by horticultural and agricultural structures.

All of our electric motor/gearboxes are supplied as standard with a minimum/maximum limit switch device for improved and safe operation.

Output shafts from the gearbox drives are also supplied as standard for direct connection to the Redpath torque tube drive.

Redpath's crosslink drives offer operators of large multi-roof vent structures the ability to open many vents with just one single motor/gearbox drive.

The crosslink system connects all vents via 1:1 transfer gearbox units and vent mounted 32:1 gearboxes.

Crosslinks substantially reduce wiring costs whilst also offering long-term reductions in general maintenance and power consumption.
