Last Friday we had the most powerful
and terrific hurricane we ever had for more than 30 years in New Caledonia.
We had very strong winds (till 300kms/hour) and flood.
We have lost nearly 10,000 m²
of greenhouses: the ones built by ...... with materials from ......
(David saw these ones) and some of the old ...... The only one with
no destruction was the Supertwin from Redpath. This house has experienced
very strong wind and flood of more than 1 meter with nothing destroyed
inside or outside. We have lost one plastic sheet on the last Ecoshelter
we built in 2002 and one plastic sheet on the Ecoshelter we build one year
ago (nursery). The structures are OK.
With my partners in the business,
we have decided to replace the destroyed greenhouses by Redpath greenhouses.
Could you please quote for the following options:

option 1: Supertwin model for 20,000
plants
-
option 2: Ecoshelter units for 20,000
plants
In the following days we would need
in urgency plastic sheets to replace the ones on the Ecoshelter and ......
units. I will give you more details tomorrow morning. You could
organise one container with ......, from which we will buy pumice and irrigation
supplies.
