New Stainless Steel Flower Netting Clip

Floraclips are a new type of spring clip designed to securely retain flower crop support netting and ‘crossbars’ at their various levels within plant rows.  Redpath-designed Floraclips are manufactured from a special grade of stainless steel with a heat tempered spring hardness that provides growers with several advantages over existing plastic clip systems available on the market today.

Floraclips’ non-slip performance when exposed to Australia's’ typically high greenhouse temperatures, and their resistance to degradation from UV and chemical sprays have made them very popular.

Redpath says that the Floraclip has a very long service life whilst also offering a greater crop load capability.  Floraclips will suit industry standard frame support systems (with steel struts measuring 12.7mm outside diameter) and may be used repeatedly for many years.  This allows growers to upgrade and replace existing clips as older types fail.

Floraclips can be easily cleaned at the end of the cropping cycle by either chemical or hot water sterilisation processes. They are suitable for use with either steel netting or Floranet plastic crop support netting materials.

The clips are typically packaged in bags of 100 but bulk commercial bags of 1000+ are also available at a reduced cost.  Redpath says “considering their extended life over other clip systems, the Floraclip price represents excellent value for money and provides long term savings to flower growers.”

Many major horticultural suppliers are now stocking Floraclips, or alternatively a free sample of the clip and information on Redpath double exterior strand Floranet plastic crop support netting and frame systems is available.
