Shadeshield Shadecloth Fabric

It is a well-known fact that many crops can benefit from shading and for some it is essential.  Using a well constructed, and consistent quality shading product becomes very important to achieve regular crop cultivation.

Redpath have achieved this with their Shadeshield products in both green and white colours.

 
Redpath tell us that their Shadeshield is constructed of commercial-grade monofilament yarn, which is extruded in-house by their supplier and knitted into their UV stabilised shadecloth fabric.  This allows close monitoring and therefore improved consistency of the raw material, which is used for the production of this quality range.  It also enables Redpath to offer a five-year pro-rata UV degradation warranty on their entire shadecloth range.

Today's grower also requires a shadecloth that is user-friendly. To achieve this, the Redpath Shadeshield incorporates sewn-in-eyelets along both edges for easier installation in lightweight applications.  Shadeshield is also reinforced at its edges for additionally improved strength.

The various claimed shade factors of Redpath Shadeshield will, of course, depend on the strength and acute angles of sunlight.  These are affected by the seasons and climate. Redpath have three shade densities available in their green Shadeshield: 

Also available is a White Shadeshield with L rated shade shade factor in 1.83m and 3.66m x 50m rolls to allow more natural light than the traditional green product plus added ‘reflectivity for improved cooling in very hot climates.

As a further service to their valued customers, Redpath also offer a ‘fabrication service’ to cater to ‘special’ job size requirements.
