Redpath industrial covers are speedy to erect
& provide plentiful natural light for working beneath. The
speciality extra heavy duty cladding Duraflex
M rated shade factor is often used as the cladding material for
these designs. Duraflex allows natural white light to enter but
reflects out much of the heat from the sun. This moderates internal
temperatures under the cover.
Also extensively used (particularly in Australia)
is the Reinforced
Polyweave or Shademaster family of polythene films. These
additionally provide improved lifespan & tear resistance.
Redpath industrial covers are designed to withstand
extreme windspeeds, with strong RHS steel framing & all fully
bolted construction techniques. Redpath's patented Lockstrip
or Duralock 2 aluminium polythene fastening system is used throughout
the designs to securely retain the cladding throughout its long 10
year expected life.
The registered design Curved Rafter truss structure
is employed on the 9.2m (30') & 10.6m span models. Visit Horticultural
Structures to read details on this leading edge technological feature.
