Redpath polypropylene Biomesh is a closely
woven anti-insect fabric used for a variety of applications.
Biomesh may be used outdoors over a simple framework
to effectively guard against pests as small as .50mm. Biomesh can
be used in horticultural and agricultural structures covering ventilation
openings to exclude insects.
Biomesh is constructed from a commercial grade
of U.V. stabilised monofilament polypropylene.
It has a strand density of 32 strands per square
inch. This provides an average opening between the strands of only
half a millimetre. The white colour of this netting gives minimal
shading. Biomesh may be joined by sewing or welding. Redpath
"lockstrip" film/fabric fastening system may be used for reliable attachment
to structural framework.
Biomesh is supplied in a standard roll width of
3 metres (9'11") wide and is supplied "cut to length" to the nearest metre
to suit each users application. This reduces both expense and wasteful
off-cuts.
