Hydroponic Gully Film

Propanda hydroponic gully is a co-extruded, UV stabilised black side/white side polythene.  All rolls are 600mm (2') in width and are 400 metres (1300') in length.

This film is predominantly used by growers that operate a reticulating hydroponic system, to form the channels that the plants stand in and are supplied liquid nutrient feed through.

A channel is formed by folding the propanda gully as shown here with the white side facing outwards.  This will assist with light reflection and help keep the root zone of the plant cooler.  The black inner layer suppresses light penetration to the root mat and substantially reduced algae growth.

Redpath propanda hydroponic film is manufactured from a high quality resin that is extruded at an accurate and consistent gauge which ensures excellent strength and resistance to "pin-holing".

This lightweight matting is laid along the inside of the Propanda Gullies to provide some plant root support and assist with dispersing nutrient feed evenly across the hydroponic NFT gully channels.  Rolls are 188 mm (7¼") wide x 250 metres long.

The Redpath hydrophillic capillary matting will resist rotting and degradation from chemicals.  It is desirable to maintain a constant flow of nutrient feed to keep the capillary action of the matting functioning.
