Redpath Silvershield acts like a mirror
with unique silver coating able to efficiently reflect light. Silvershield
is often used as a retractable screen within the greenhouse and has superior
heat reflective capabilities over standard "shade only" textiles.
Silvershields air-permeable structure improves its performance in high
humidity conditions.
Silvershield offers growers a direct "cooling effect"
whilst improving light diffusion onto the crop. Silvershield may
be used indoors or outdoors and it is UV stabilised for improved service
life. It may also be used as a frost protection fabric if desired.
Silvershield's knitted construction and mono orientated
HDPE gives the textile further durability and longevity. Silvershield
is stocked by Redpath in a standard width of 4 metres with a roll length
