Double ridge ventilation with Redpath Raised Ridge
feature is optional in twinskin or singleskin.
Double ridge ventilation offers the highest level
of natural ventilation. The placement of the ventilator at the apex
of the structure allows it to efficiently evacuate the warm collecting
air within the greenhouse. The vent position allows it to utilize
the higher outside wind speeds available at the apex of the structure for
speedy exchange & replacement of air. The double roof system
opens as much as 33% of the greenhouse floor area for very effective
cooling on even the warmest days. With ventilators facing in two
directions this system when attached to a Redpath Environmental Controller
gives growers the ability to ventilate their structures effectively in
a wide variety of climatic conditions. Redpath double vents use high
quality Ridder rack & pinion drives & combined with Stainless steel
fasteners & bronze pinned vent hinges, the ventilators construction
offers trouble free service life with nominal maintenance needs.
Redpath double ridge ventilators are usually driven by an efficient crosslink
electric motor drive system designed in Holland, however manual operation
is also an option.
The Raised Ridge apex is a standard feature on
all Redpath double ridge ventilator systems.
