Rack & Pinion side ventilation for quality
"all weather" air movement is an option. Manual or automatic control.
For some crops, sidewall ventilation is important.
When combined with a good roof ventilation system in single or double facing
form. Side vents allow cool fresh air into the greenhouse unit at
crop head level or sometimes below.
Redpath's rack & pinion actuated sidewall vents
give superior flexibility to the grower. The ventilation may be opened
in virtually any weather conditions with little consideration for wind
direction or rainfall. A ventilator actuated by rack & pinions offers
ultra-reliable & consistent performance year after year. They
may be operated manually if desired but are usually supplied with automatic
motor drives. The Redpath rack & pinion sidewall ventilator may
have its hinged point positioned at the top of the greenhouse wall or at
any other point desired. The opening therefore can be at ground level
if desired. Redpath side vents may be clad in twinskin, singleskin
or rigid clad sheeting , whilst the opening area can be meshed for the
exclusion of small pests using Redpath Vent-net or Biomesh anti aphid netting.
