Singleskin roof ventilator and ventilator
panels for maximum light transmission are optional on Super-Twin.
Single-skinning of the entire roof area becomes
of great importance to growers seeking to maximize light transmission to
the crop. Even the clutter of the greenhouse framing can impact on
the overall light transmitted to the crop. By keeping the ventilator
clad only in a single layer of Duratough polythene, light transmission
is kept at maximum levels. The unique Redpath design with pre-tensioned
curved ventilator arms provides that extra percentage of light transmission
to the crop. The singleskin ventilator has been especially designed
to have no difficulty in clearing water from its covers even during heavy
rain fall. It incorporates the strategic positioning of vent lathes
to assist with this & to better drain condensation. Redpaths
own design of aluminium ridge batten secures the vent cladding along the
buildings apex whilst Redpaths closed cell foam isolating tape eliminates
any risk of leakage or cover stress. Polyguard greenhouse frame lagging
tape is also used on the single-skin ventilator at all film/frame contact
points to prevent cover abrasion & contact temperature issues in warmer
climates.
