Redpath raised ridge ventilator provides
up to 30% greater ventilation at lower rain open settings.
The raised ridge ventilator system is one of the
very latest features to be offered by Redpath. The raised ridge ventilator
with it’s increased pitch design offers superior ventilation in marginal
conditions. The ventilator may be opened up to 68% more than a conventional
ventilator in rainy conditions without the concerns of weather intrusion.
In early morning conditions when the greenhouse covers & ventilator
sheeting can be coated in condensation the vents may be opened up to 15%
without the fear of the condensation draining back toward the ridge &
then dripping onto the crop below. This reduces moisture related
disease problems within the greenhouse.
The raised ridge design applies to all double gull
wing single-skin & twinskin (double poly) structures that Redpath manufactures
& exports.
Long life components are utilized in the construction
of the raised ridge system & they include a Hot Dipped galvanized ridge
connector, Bronze pinned self lubricating hinges, stainless steel pivot
bolts plus heavy duty rack & pinion mechanisms sourced from Holland.
The raised ridge ventilator design has a patent
pending design application number 337731 Registered in New Zealand &
Australia
