Ultraspan's 10.65 metre clear span portal truss
provides the owner with greater crop management flexibility.
The Ultraspan cosecant curved rafter design allow
greater light transmission to reach the crop whilst giving improved collection
and control of any internal condensation.
Ultraspan's very large above-crop air volume (buffer
zone) keeps excessive heat away from the crop head height, therefore assisting
in the reduction of crop stress in warm or humid conditions.
This large overhead buffer zone also allows the
rack and pinion ridge ventilation system to moderate and better manage
the rise and fall of internal air temperatures, giving a more natural and
consistent growing environment.
Ultraspan includes as standard, external pole line
"vee" walkthrough gutters, providing the operator with speedy access to
the roof area of the building. This simplifies the application of
shade paints, general maintenance or cleaning.
