The Redpath Ultraspan design offers as an option
an aluminium “undergutter trap” for additional reduction of unwanted driplines
& improved environmental control. Redpath's Vee gutter design directs
any moisture that forms on the structural guttering to its center-line
& this then can drop into the aluminium undergutter tray & be directed
to the end of the building and then exit outside of the structure. By preventing
this water dropping onto the ground the Redpath design breaks the cycle
of moisture recirculation within the structure, maintaining a dryer
& warmer environment for the crop with less disease.
The Vee gutter has additionally fitted along both
its sides an aluminium gutter lockstrip clipping system that catches the
vast majority of condensation draining down from the roof covers &
directs it to the end of the building where it is drained to the outside
the structure.
