Low maintenance rack & Pinions &
silent torque tube bearings.
The Ultraspan model uses long life, low maintenance
rack & pinions for accurate operation of all ridge & side ventilation
systems. The Ridder (Holland) heavy duty brand of rack & pinion
are used which offer a well proven service life with minimal maintenance.
Racks feature a galvanized finish for corrosion protection plus have a
dual drive gear for excellent spread of load & a balanced operation.
Redpath supply a dedicated grease for the lubrication of the rack drives
& recommend that lubrication be considered as an annually. The
rack & pinions are combined with four roller tube bearings for silent
& long-life operation.
Rollers are manufactured from wear resistant polypropelene
& do not require special greasing for extended periods of time. The
rollers also will not mark & scrape the galvanizing from the vent drive
tubing.
Quality stainless steel bolt fasteners are used
to connect all rack & pinions to the vent framing
