Redpath Greenhouses incorporate as a standard feature
an aluminium upstand at the point where the roof ventilation system closes
onto the greenhouse frame. Made from long life maintenance free aluminium,
this feature improves markedly the ventilators ability to resist the intrusion
of driving wind & rain. The upstand also improves the “seal”
of the greenhouses ventilator for thermal efficiency.
The upstand section efficiently doubles as the
greenhouse film locking system used for fastening the cover to the frame.
A special “Omega” clip is used to create an effective draftstrip.
Aluminium extrusions like Upstand are used extensively
throughout the Redpath Greenhouse designs, giving the owner trouble-free
service life.
